This week mainly focused on technology-integrated assessment and determining how well students are achieving their intended learning outcomes. Assessing students are challenging, as knowledge can almost never be directly measured, so instructors typically attempt to grade knowledge based on an average of grades from assignments, midterms & exams, quizzes, labs, and projects to make an interpretation of their understanding.

Here’s the issue,

One thing that really interested me was the statistics on higher ed instructors having a far higher confidence in an assigned grade than what is justified.
